Berrykins

These dolls were produced in 1984-5, and since they were not produced for long, they are EXTREMELY rare.  They came with pastel striped tights, party dresses, and a hair bow (Banana Twirl has a bow on each side.)  They came with cute Berrykin critters rather than pets.  There is a perfume pouch around each Berrykin's neck which held a sold perfume.  Banana Twirl was introduced in this line and made in this line only.  I have read that these were only in stores in the North!  No wonder I didn't have any!!

Their bodies are marked American Greetings Corp. 1984.

Their heads are marked differently, Plum's is marked 1984, SSC's is marked 1979.

The Berrykin Critters are marked A.G.C. 1985.

All of these dolls have sheer, chiffon sleeves except for Mint, Plum, and Peach.

Prototypes

There were some prototype Berrykins.  Raspberrykin, Limeberrykin, and Blueberrykin.  They are only available in prototype form and weren't ever mass-produced.
